Cylinder Warranty Claim Process
FluoroFusion Specialty Chemicals, Inc. guarantees FluoroFusion products to be free of defective material and workmanship which would affect the life and use of FluoroFusion products. This warranty will not cover items that have been misapplied, altered, abused or improperly maintained. To establish a reasonable warranty period against any product that fails to be superior, we will warranty defects for a period of one year from the date of manufacture. Please upload the required documentation and complete the form below.
A full refund will be issued for the following defects:

Valve Seal is intact and cylinder weighs less than full

Cylinder is full, will not release gas.

Cylinder is full, valve will not turn.

Cylinder is full, threads are defective.
A pro rata refund will be issued for the following defects:

Cylinder is less than full1, will not release gas

Cylinder is less than full1, valve will not turn
Empty cylinder tare weight is approximately 8 pounds. “Full cylinder” weight is equal to tare weight plus refrigerant contents weight. For example, the gross weight for a full cylinder of R410A is approximately 33 pounds (8 lbs. + 25 lbs.).
IMPORTANT! Please retain defective cylinder for a period of 60 days (Hold Period) following submission of your warranty credit request. Defects may require visual inspection or to be shipped back to a FluoroFusion facility for final approval.

Cylinders that contain any amount of residual refrigerant may be submitted to your reclaim partner after your warranty claim has been processed and the Hold Period has expired.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING A CLAIM
1. With a permanent marker, write the letter “W” and today’s date near the serial number and brand name. Be careful not to cover either serial number or brand name /logo with permanent marker.
2. Upload digital photo(s) of the defective cylinder(s):

The digital photo(s) should contain the cylinder valve, serial number, handwritten date marking,refrigerant type, refrigerant brand and weight in lbs. See example below

It is important that all markings and elements are clear and legible

Please include a photo of any date stamps or serial numbers marked on the outer carton of the cylinder, if available

If a single digital photo is not possible, multiple photos may be submitted for each warranty claim
